Round Rock Pools

On a hot summer day, swimming in a pool is the perfect way to cool off. The Round Rock area is lucky to have a great selection of pools catering to swimmers of all abilities and residents of all ages. This is just another reason to look for Round Rock homes for sale! Here are some of the top pools you might want to check out while you're house-hunting or once you move in.

  • Rock'N River Water Park: 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock, TX 78664
    Rock'N River Water Park 
    is more than just a pool — it's an entire water park! There are water slides, a water playground, and tipping buckets. There's also a lazy river, which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the cool water when the heat has sapped your energy.

    Rock'N River Water Park charges $12 admission per adult and $10 per child. (Children 2 and under are only $5). Season passes are available, too. 

  • Lake Creek Pool: 800 Deerfoot Drive, Round Rock, TX 78664
    Lake Creek Pool 
    is a large, well-maintained outdoor pool located in Lake Creek Park. The pool is filled with saltwater, so it does not get a strong chlorine scent. The pool is open from 1 - 5 pm Tuesday - Thursday, and Sunday, and from 1 - 7 pm Friday and Saturday.

    This is a great pool to visit with kids since there are also activities to enjoy in the surrounding park. You'll see playgrounds, drinking fountains, picnic shelters, grills, and multipurpose fields.

  • Micki Krebsbach Pool: 301 Deepwood Drive, Round Rock, TX 78681
    Micki Krebsbach Pool
    is a fun, public water space designed with kids in mind. There's a 26-foot pirate ship with several water slides and water cannons to make sure everyone has fun while cooling off.

    There's also the main pool where you can swim casually or lap swim. For younger kids, there's a wading area with some splash features. Micki Krebsbach Pool is open from 1 - 7 pm daily, except for Tuesdays when it is closed for maintenance.

  • Cat Hollow Pool: 8600 O'Connor Drive, Round Rock, TX 78681
    Cat Hollow Pool 
    is an outdoor pool located inside Cat Hollow Park. The pool has a covered, beach entryway that is ideal for kids. There's also a splash pad next to the pool, which is a great place to cool off if you don't feel like swimming.

    Cat Hollow Pool is generally open from 10 am until dusk in the summer. The surrounding park is also a nice place to hang out. It features sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, pavilions, and picnic areas. Free WiFi is available throughout the park.

  • Emler Swim School: 2800 S Interstate 190, Round Rock, TX 78681
    Maybe your child doesn't know how to swim and would benefit from some swimming lessons this summer. Emler Swim School is a great place to take them. They offer lessons for all ages and ability levels, and their saltwater pool is beautifully maintained.

    Emler Swim School offers several different class sessions each day, so you should be able to find an option that fits into your schedule.
