Here are some of the attractions and events that make this area such a fundamental part of Georgetown's charm.

Historical Attractions

Historical aficionados near our Georgetown homes for sale can enjoy lectures, exhibits, and hands-on demonstrations at the Williamson Museum, an institution founded in 1997 to preserve the history of this part of Central Texas. The museum's grounds include a striking statue of Robert McAlpin Williamson, also known as "Three-Legged Willie," due to the wooden leg he used as a mobility aid after contracting tuberculous arthritis.
